We are excited to announce that we will be launching a Christmas charity design competition, inviting local creatives of all ages to submit their best festive masterpiece for the chance to be featured on the our brand new charity gift card wallet card during the festive season.
The competition, is free to enter, is now open until Sunday 27 October. We would love for you to unleash your creativity and submit a unique design for the first ever charity Derbion gift card wallet that captures the spirit of Derbion, Derby or Derbyshire during the festive period.
Think a Robin at Chatsworth, Santa at Derbion or Snow over the peaks!

You can also collect and drop off your template from Customer Services on Level 1 throughout the competition.
Derbion’s festive gift card wallets will be available to purchase in-centre from early November for £1 each, in addition to the cost of the gift card total. 100% of the proceeds from the gift card wallet will go to the centre’s charity partner of the year, Umbrella – a local children and young people’s charity.
That’s not all , whoever is chosen to feature on our official charity Christmas gift card wallet design, will receive a £100 Derbion gift card to spend at Derbion!
Things to consider;
- Your creation needs to fit in the template given which is 4.5cm (H) x 5.9cm (L)
- Please avoid any elements of your creation that will stick up off the paper as we wont be apply to replicate this on the actual design
- If you are taking a photo or scan of your creation to send via email, it needs to be flat as possible, with very little crinkles or creases
- You should take the photo from straight above so that all four corners of your design can be seen
- Images must be a minimum of 3MB
- Templates can only be collected or dropped off at Customer Services during opening hours
- The lucky winner will be selected by a panel of judges including staff and children from our Charity of the year Umbrella.
- The winner will be announced week commencing the 4th November
